Bookish Blind Date

Lara from The Heathen is organizing an awesome challenge called A Blind Date with a Book. You can do a quiz and get a book as a result, which is one of five books. These books are free to download on Kindle, Nook and B&N. The rules are that you have to read the book and write a review about it. And of course because I got really curious and had to do the quiz. You can find more information here.

My Result

Frenched (Mia and Lucas) by [Harlow, Melanie]

It is really surprising, I would never have picked this book, simply based on the cover. Almost naked women do not usually draw my attention when they’re on the cover of a book. It does look like a very romantic book, and those are not usually the type of book I read. But I’m curious to see what I’ll think of it.

When I got dumped by my stupid fiance a week before the wedding, my plans involved nothing more than ice cream, a blanket fort, and a bonfire of his possessions.

But my friends convinced me that bitter tastes better drowned in Bordeaux, so I came to Paris for a single-moon.

Then I met him. He’s shown me things I’ve never seen before, and I’m not talking about the Louvre.

Is it just the seduction of Paris? Or could this be the real thing?
