I’m back with a new quote and a happy announcement. I have officially written 100 posts on this blog! So this is going to be the 101th. Thank you all for sticking with me! Also two (out of three) of my exams are over and now I have a week to prepare for the last one, so I finally have time to catch up with everything. I’m sorry if I didn’t do a tag/nomination/anything sooner, but I will do it soon!
- Show the challenge on your blog.
- Thank your nominator.
- Pick a favourite quote, explain what it means and tell your readers why you chose that quote.
- Nominate people for every post
- Post the challenge once a day for 3 days and include one quote for each post.
Write. In my religion we’re taught that every living thing, every leaf, every bird, is only alive because it contains the secret word for life. That’s the only difference between us and a lump of clay. A word. Words are life, Liesel. – Markus Zusak
I am not sure whether this quote is actually in the book (The Book Thief) or not, but it’s in the movie. I love the book (and the movie too) and it’s so powerful! Sometimes people forget the importance of words and how influential writing can be. It’s not only an escape, but it’s also a weapon. A weapon that should be treated with the care it deserves. Words can hurt and they can also heal, use yours for the good not the bad.
I think a lot of you already did this tag so I’m just going to tag a few of my most recent followers (Thank you!!)
