What was the last book you marked as ‘read’?

18798983

The Wrath & The Dawn by RenΓ©e Ahdier. I read this book with Jasmine from How Useful It Is, our reviews are here and here.

What are you currently reading?

28220742

I am currently reading Infinity by Jus Accardo, and I am hoping to finish it tonight.

What was the last book you marked as ‘to read’?

32051572

I added six books today to my TBR, the last book is Dividing Eden, which is the newest book of Joelle Charbonneau and it comes out somewhere next year.

What book do you plan to read next?

7741325

Dash & Lily’s Book of Dares by Rachel Cohn and David Levithan. I plan to read this together with Lucy from Girl Who Reads and Eve from Twist in the Taile.

Do you use the star rating system?

Yes I do but I use half-stars.

Are you doing a 2016 reading challenge?

Yes I have given myself the challenge to read 65 books in 2016, but I have already surpassed that amount a few weeks ago. I have currenlty read 73 books.

Do you have a wishlist?

Of course! Pretty much any book on my TBR except for the ones that I already own (but that are not a lotΒ books)

What book do you plan to buy next?

I don’t think I’ll buy books any time soon, since I just bought new ones and Sinterklaas and Christmas is coming, which means presents! (and therefore it means books πŸ™‚ )

Do you have any favourite quotes, would you like to share a few?

Don’t make me choose between my babies! I think my ever favourite quote is “We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars.” by Oscar Wilde. But the second place is reserved for a hundred other quotes. There are just so many and they’re all beautiful!

Who are your favourite authors?

Righ now: Marissa Meyer, Laini Taylor, Maggie Stiefvater. But uprunners are: Jennifer Niven,Β Morgan Matson and Nicola Yoon.

Have you joined any groups?

I am in the Austentations group where we read books by Jane Austen (and in the future maybe other classics as well!) and I’m in the Book Travelling Thursdays group.

How many shelves do you have on goodreads?

I’ve got the basics: read, currently reading and to-read, and I’ve also got a classics, fantasy, favourites, historic, just beautiful, magical, re-read, romance/contemporary, and sci-fi/dystopic shelf.

I tag…

Eve
Renuka
Megan

Sorry if I post a lot of tags these days, I have some catching up to do πŸ™‚
Oh and make sure to check out Trisha’s blog, I wrote a guest post about getting more reading done.

  1. I loved Dash & Lily’s Book of Dares when I read it last year. I read it around Christmas, and it fits perfectly for Christmas. Imo it is a Christmas book. I hope you like it πŸ˜€ I’m planning on reading book 2 this Christmas. I have also read The Wrath & The Dawn but I’m not sure what I think of it.

    1. Yeah, I read a lot during my vacation and I also read a lot in the past month.. Also since I moved in September I’ve got way less travel time and therefore more time to read πŸ™‚

  2. Aah thanks so much for tagging me, this looks awesome! I’m definitely going to need to do some tags as NaNoWriMo is slightly bleeding my ideas dry, yikes. Ha, I don’t think I’ve joined…any groups on GR? And I do have some very random shelves. But it’s super useful. *nods*
