The Mystery Blogger Award

I was nominated for the Mystery Blogger Award by Maya from Book Dragon 1017, thank you Maya! Check out her blog because she’s a lovely bookish blogger! This award is created by Okoto Enigma.

The Rules

  1. Put the award logo/image on your blog.
  2. List the rules.
  3. Thank whoever nominated you and provide a link to their blog!
  4. Mention the creator of the award and provide a link to their blog as well.
  5. Tell your readers 3 things about yourself.
  6. You have to nominate 10-20 people. (hahaha nope, it’s going to be 5)
  7. Notify each of your nominees by commenting on their blog. (I’ll just tag you)
  8. Ask your nominees any 5 questions of your choice; with one weird or funny question (specify).
  9. Share your link to your best post(s).

Wait they don’t even tell you to answer the questions?? Why would you ask questions and then not answer them.. hmm weird.

3 Things about me:

  1. I’ve been listening to Sleeping at Last’s Christmas album all day and I’m in a very Christmassy mood. Do you know Sleeping at Last? It reminds me so much of Kodaline and I love it!
  2. I still haven’t obtained my drivers license, but I hope I’ll be able to soon!
  3. I have always considered myself to be a very organized person, but guess what? I am not. Everything is always a mess and I forget to do everything and I am always late with these tags and things like that.

The Questions

  1. What characteristic do you like most in the people you know?

Okay you know that feeling when you’re getting interrupted or talked over in a conversation? I hate it. And then there’s this angel type of person that looks at you and gives you their undivided attention. THOSE PEOPLE ARE AMAZING.

  1. Who do you feel most comfortable fanboy/girling with the most?

The internet. That isn’t a real answer isn’t it? I feel most comfortable fangirling on my blog and in the comment section of other people’s blogs.

  1. What is one impossible goal you dreamt of achieving?

I don’t know I don’t dream of achieving impossible things I guess. I am so bad at setting goals for myself, I’ve been putting off doing the “This Time Next Year” tag by Sarah (sorry Sarah!), simply because I have no clue what my goals are. I just make things up as I go, I don’t plan ahead (especially not that far).

  1. If you could choose one skill to be unnaturally good at, what would it be?

Sleeping. Is that a weird skill? I just want to be able to fall asleep when I want to. I’m so jealous of those people who are able to fall asleep within 5 minutes, it takes me like 45!

  1. Weirder than bananas: What was the most violent thought that crossed your mind?

I am not a violent person but when I heard about the outcome of the US elections, I thought, can’t someone just kill the dude? And then I thought “No Lia, what are you thinking, you can’t think that!”

My best posts

Seriously I am supposed to choose? I can’t okay I just can’t. What do you think is my best post?

My Questions to you

  1. What’s your favourite holidays tradition?
  2. Are you a planner or a “I make it up as I go” type of person?
  3. Mittens or gloves to warm up your cold hands?
  4. What is your favourite Christmas song?
  5. If you were a type of weather, what would you be? (I would probably be soft sunshine after drizzle. This is the weird question btw)

I nominate…

Nandika & Tanishka from Yours A-fiction-ately

Ava from Reads, Rhythms & Ruminations

A New Chapter

McKenzie from Bookish Things & Tea

Alexis Kamille

Thanks for reading and see you next time! Also, what is the favourite post you’ve ever written?

  1. Great answers! Ugh I totally feel for the people who are interrupted in conversations! I’m usually the angel who helps actually πŸ˜…
Totally agree with you about sleeping! In one book I was reading this girl would be able to sleep whenever she wanted to and wake up whenever she wanted to and it was an important survival skill and I was so god damn jelly of that!!!

    1. I have found another angel! You people are the best!
Oh I wish I could sleep wherever and whenever I want to!! That would be so amazing. People who can sleep properly don’t realize what a privilege that is..

  2. Congrats on your award! πŸ˜€ Loved your answers. I, too, would love to fall asleep quickly. I’m so jealous of the ppl who just close their eyes and are gone from this world in seconds. It takes me like 30 minutes and 20 positions before I fall asleep πŸ˜‚ And don’t worry. I think a lot of us had the same exact thought when Trump won LOL

    1. Thank you! Same, why is the world so unfair! I once read that on average it takes a person 7 minutes to fall asleep, and I don’t know if that’s true but who are those lucky people that fall asleep within a minute??
      Haha yeah probably

  4. Thanks for the nomination! And congratulations! You have a wonderful blog here.
Even I dislike it when anyone interrupts me while I’m talking passionately and deeply about something.
    Thanks again.

    1. If you add a link to a post they wrote (I always take the most recent one but I don’t think it matters), it should give the person a notification that their post is linked to yours. I think this only works on wordpress, so if they don’t have a wordpress blog I don’t know if they’ll be notified. Good luck!
