The title is a Fall Out Boy reference btw
I’m working hard on finishing all the ARCs I discussed last week but I really feel like reading contemporary right now so I started another book (oops). I’m reading 4 books at the same time… Anyway, this weekly feature is basically a list of books I have to read, review, and buy.
I’m nearing the end of my ARC TBR pile (meaning I’ve read a few and am reading a few), but I have yet to read The Thieves of Nottica, which was sent to me for review. After I’ve finished that (
or maybe I’ll just procrastinate a bit more), I’m going to give myself some time off reading ARCs and read one of the books I’ve been excited about for a while. This might be We Are The Ants, A Monster Calls or some other book (maybe the one mentioned below?).
I feel embarrassed to say that even though I said I wasn’t going to buy any books, I did… I started reading a preview from iBooks and I loved it so much I went out to buy the book. The book is Let’s Get Lost by Adi Alsaid (isn’t that cover pretty??!). BUT NOW I’M NOT GOING TO BUY BOOKS. I PROMISE.
Reviewing immediately after reading is still not my strong point and I’m again embarrassed to say I have not yet reviewed On The Spectrum. I finished The Color Project a couple of days ago but I haven’t been able to write a review yet… Ugh and I’m planning to finish both ARCs I’m reading right now soon so then my To Review – pile will be even larger.. 😦
I think I might have a problem I call not-being-able-to-walk-out-the-bookstore/library-without-a-new-book. I just can’t, especially at the library, it’s just too easy to take more books.
Are you also so horrible at reviewing books immediately after finishing it? Or at not buying/getting new books?
